    Trying to activate the Jevelin theme (Version: 2.6.1) on my wordpress site and receiving the message that the theme is broken. I get a general 500 error on both the front and back end so then I have to go into server to revert back to the default theme.

     

    When I go into the server error logs, it’s says: (complete error log written in private content area) “PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in …/themes/jevelin/inc/demo.php on line 433″

     

    Line 433 of demo.php reads:

    ”    $downloader = new OCDI\Downloader();”

     

    I’ve used this theme before with no issue– what’s happening?

    Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

     

    The latest version of theme is working fine on my test site without any issue.

     

    Which version of PHP are you using on your server?

     

    Please make sure you are using latest version of it.

     

    Also please try using below theme version.
