Hey,
I know I can disable it in “Post” but I think I am blind. Can u share the screen where do I have a checkbox to disable feature image on the post ?

You can remove the featured image from the post edit screen as shown in the attached screenshot.

SO the image is there in recommended articles (small squares) but when u enter the post, it starts with the text (no image)

You can hide it by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS code option of your theme on the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Theme Settings -> Custom Code -> CSS Code
