Thanks for your reply, Yes the site does look ok with the AMP plugin disabled. My understanding is that google prefers AMP enabled sites especially for ranking.
What you mean when you say “AMP plugin version is limited”?

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have installed the classic widgets plugin as suggested and the widgets are now showing. Can you tell me if this is a work around and if any functionality is missing as I don’t see the classic widgets plugin listed as a REQUIRED plugin for this theme?
