Ok so lets say there is no padding on the row. How do I still adjust the heights of my rows.
And I did some searching, it seems Yellow Pencil not saving changes is a semi-common issue. Has this been resolved at all? Everything is updated to the latest releases.
UPDATE:
The CSS changes take effect on the actual footer page when it is seperate. But dont carry over.
Thanks for responding, thats how I did change the color in the first place. Using Yellow Pencil.
So I did an experiment. I changed the font size of my footer page to very large using YP, and clicked saved. It saves and I close it. I delete my cache and reload my page. The font size of my Footer didnt change. I then changed the actual text and that updated. So it seems CSS changes from Yellow Pencil on the footer page arnt taking effect.
Here’s the second image. Any ideas? Thanks guys!
Alright I figured it out, anyone reading this who ran into this problem. There are two sections of the footer area. The “Top Footer” and the “Sub Footer”. The top footer in the image has categories and reviews in it and the sub footer has the copy write.
The top footer is created by adding widgets to Footer 1 in the widget section. Thats why my top footer disappeared because I deleted those widgets in Yellow Pencil.
You guys hiring here for customer service? š
Sorry thats not helping at all.
Those links lead to dead ends. Why are footers in wordpress so hard to edit?
I figured it out. The sidebar element was labeled as “gillion-columns-sidebar” which you need to change in the code to:
#sidebar .gillion-columns-sidebar {
position: static !important;
transform: none !important;
}
Gotta make sure the element name lines up with the name in the code
It seems that is what I edited, the default footer settings with Yellow Pencil
The website is not up yet
Alright thank you!
Well how do I add twitter to the Shuffle Hound Social Counter?
Also I’m starting to get more experience in Gillian. Am I better just removing the Widgetised Side Bar and just replacing it with a Column and adding my data that way in WPBakery instead? Seems like the “left” side of Gillian is way easier for me to edit and manage then the “right” side of the page LOL
Awesome got everything sorted out!
The website isnt up. But here is a photo of before the CSS code and after. Also you can see the “read it later” icon that I cant figure out how to remove.
Also how do I remove the “read it later” icon off my header menu?
Thank you but the code just changed my “3 dots” to an “arrow down”. I actually dont want anything to show
