    When uploading this theme I get a HTTP Error 500 on my theme install. I’ve disabled all plugins and tried even the basic free wordpress themes and they seem to activate. I am uploading the gillion.zip theme and have tried doing it through wordpress and the FTP client.

     

    Help?

    I have identified the problem to be :

     

    <b>Fatal error</b>: Can’t use function return value in write context in <b>/home/content/15/9154415/html/wp-content/themes/gillion/inc/helpers_blog.php</b> on line <b>47</b>

     

    I downloaded the most recent version as I bought it today! Is there another version I should use

    Please make sure you are using latest version of PHP on your server.

     

    Also please try using the below latest Gillion theme version.
