Hello, i hope u are fine

I am using local server with XAMPP to build my page.

I m having trouble with contact form. After i enter the submit button on the screen appears: “Ajax error (more details in console)” .

Did i miss any configuration? please can we fix it? thank you

    Hi @ervis23,

Yes I am doing well and sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

Can you check the JavaScript console for errors when you face this issue?

In Chrome go to “Tools -> Developer Tools” and in Firefox you can go to “Tools -> Web Developer -> Console”

Find information about how to open JavaScript browser console :

    http://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/8525/how-to-open-the-javascript-console-in-different-browsers
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors

Let me know what JavaScript errors if any you are getting when you face this issue.

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

You can see in the attached screenshot that the WordPress AJAX file on your server is not accessible so please make sure that it is accessible and nothing is preventing it.

I gave access to all file with full permission,

Also gave full granted access but nothing happened,

    Please any other tip

How did you grant the permissions?

Are you getting the same errors now?

Sorry, maybe i dont explain in the right way.

I grant full permission in httpd.conf,

and also grant full control for security issues for all wordpress files.

Can it be a problem with the path?

Yes it seems the problem with the path.

You can see in your shared screenshot that the file still is not accessible.

It points to http://localhost/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php instead of http://localhost/testsite/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

Please make sure you have set your site URLs correctly as described in the following page.

    Solution for this topic

The site URL was set correctly, but i think that these is a problem that happens when the theme is opened from a local server and i think it will be resolved when the site will open online with a  domain name. We can close these topic, I hope no but ill contact u again if i ll have a problem after moving my site online. Thanks for the support and congratulations for your work with these theme.

You are always welcome here 🙂
