Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Project/Portfolio base redirects to home page.
Hi support,
In the breadcrumbs, it goes from Home > Projects > *name of project item*
I assigned the Project base in Settings > Permalinks to “Projects“. So the above behaviour is working fine, Home > Projects > *name of project item* is fine.
HOWEVER, when I try to go to *my-site.com*/projects it takes me to the Home page. And if I make a page called “Projects” with the slug “/projects”, I can’t even access it because of the above problem of just redirecting to the Home page.
As a result, I had to make a page with the slug “/project” (without the S) and put a portfolio element in there to have all of my portfolio items in one spot.
I’d like the link in the breadcrumb “Home > Projects > *project name*” to go to the Projects page with the slug “/projects” and NOT just redirect me to Home.
Kindly,
Andrew
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your question.
You are mixing Project base slug and projects page slug which are different and can’t be one.
To achieve the desired effect, I have changed Project base slug and projects page slug on your site.
