My contact form successfully sends me the email.  However, it doesn’t return the message to the user that the message was successully sent.  I’m not sure how to fix this.

I did install the plugin WP Mail SMTP because I couldn’t get the contact form to work.  Now it works I just don’t get the message.

HI, our blog originally has two languages, Chinese and English, different languages market in a different region, and the blog articles are different.

Our default language is English and we have the plugin of language switcher, so that English and Chinese can switch. But we found out that English can not be changed into Chinese.

    Please check our blog: https://sg.comparee.com/blog

    Thanks.

@janice9115 You are most welcome here 🙂

@emma Thanks for posting in the forum.

To help us keep support thread separates could you please create your own thread for your question instead of posting a reply on others thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.

If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.

We would be more than happy to help you with your new thread.

    Hi,

It worked but now I am trying to change the email address that the contact form goes to.  Now that I had it working I was going to change it to the store manager’s email but it’s still going to mine.  Is there a place other than the plugin that I need to change the email address?

Please edit that contact form and configure the email address in its settings as shown in the attached screenshot.

Hello,  This change above (changing the email in the contact form) did not work. It is still sending it to the same email even though I put a different one in that field.

Have you configured the same email address in the WP Mail SMTP plugin settings and in any other plugin setting that you are using?

I have.  This is totally confusing me.  I have the right email address in the WP Mail SMTP plugin and in the Contact Form settings.  It just continues to send to the initial address I had in there.

Please try changing it as described in the below pages.

    https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-change-the-wordpress-admin-email/

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/change-email-address-under-general-settings/

Would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporary share me your site admin log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able see it)”?

Yes, I would appreciate your help.  I have the info in the private field.

In your site contact us page, you were using two contact forms as shown in the attached screenshot and you had changed email address in one contact form but not in another.

I have changed it now s could you please check it again?

If it still doesn’t work for you then please try changing the email address in the site general settings as shown in the second attached screenshot.
