    Hello,

First, my WP was unable to download WPBakery, Slider and another one. Curl error..I had to place them manually on the server after downloading them locally..

Now, my WP is unable to download and install content demo. I have no error message, it just keeps loading forever.

I made a ticket about the curl issue to my host and that’s what they replied:

We’ve confirmed that there are no blocks on our servers to connect to this external service to download a file through cURL. There does, however, appear to be a block at the cdn.shufflehound.com end that is preventing our servers from successfully downloading the file.

    curl -O https://cdn.shufflehound.com/theme-plugins/visual-composer-OL6A44-6.0.5.zip

You’ll need to work with that provider to allow access from our server.

Could you help me install demo content from FOODIE template ?

    Regards

And that’s what happens with the “Deprecated way of import” through “Tools”

    Hi @Dizecrypt,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.

I can’t log into your shared site as the site login URL is not working and displaying 404 error page so please make sure that it is accessible so that I can help you.

Please make sure you are using the latest version of PHP on your server by referring to the information provided in the following pages.

    https://www.wikihow.com/Check-PHP-Version
    http://php.net/supported-versions.php

Also, the demo content is getting imported fine on our test site and for all other theme users so it must be specific to your site.

You can test it by importing the demo content on your any other site hosted on a different server or locally.

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

    Hi,

Yeah, I tried the deprecated method and it broke the website.

I had to reinstall WordPress from scratch. You can login on the new page with same login.

Could you take a look and check what I should ask my host since it’s the latest WP and PHP 7.2 !

    Cheers

Yeah, I tried the deprecated method and it broke the website.

I didn’t tell you to use the deprecated legacy method.

No, it is still not working as shown in the attached screenshot.

It seems latest so you don’t need to do anything.

I didn’t but I trust you. The thing is I went with this host so I need to get this working with this host or refund this host ASAP + which host do you suggest and are 100% sure it will work ?…

It’s back up. You can try to install the required plugin, you will notice the error.

    1. Can’t automatically install required plugins
    2. Can’t import demo content

Here is the latest message from A2Hosting:

<span style=”font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica; font-size: small;”>I wanted to double check everything on our end. I went to several other servers and was able to get the file without issue. This is on my personal shared server here at A2 Hosting.

    # ls
    access-logs@ cpanel3-skel/ etc/ mail/ perl5/ public_ftp/ public_html/ srbackups/ ssl/ tmp/ visual-composer-OL6A44-6.0.5.zip www@

    (I have deleted the file).

Additionally, I was able to curl -O a file from another server without issue. This server is outside the A2 Hosting network.

    cafecafe@nl1-ss12 [~]# curl -O https://******.com/blockednl.txt

Please contact the vendor and find out if they are blocking the server IP 68.66.248.30

The server is performing all tasks correctly.</span>

    Best regards

Got it working on Siteground. Will ask A2hosting for a refund but you should try fixing the issue with them for other customers.

Just got some warnings, should I be worried ?

    Glad you got it working.

We will talk to A2hosting regarding the issue.

    Nothing to worry.

It seems they are displaying because the WooCommerce plugin was not active at the time you imported the demo content.
