    I am wondering how I can customize the widget “Shufflehound Recent Posts” to pull in only the category of posts that I choose.

    For instance I want to pull in only recent ‘News’ posts into my footer widget.

    Is there a line I can add in the php file to do this? Maybe somewhere around here: [ wp-content/themes/jevelin/inc/widgets/recent-posts/views/widget.php ] ??

    To achieve this, you have to develop custom code in the child theme of the Jevelin theme.
