We activated search in the header on our shop but when you do a serach for a product they dont show as products instaed the show as posts, can we please change this!

This is happening because you are using the default WordPress search.
Please use the below plugin to display it as products on the search results page.

We have download and activated the plugin, set it to only show products and to be visible in header and on mobile but we still get posts shown instead of products??
Please help!

Got ir to show in topbar but not in the menu-header where the search icon and function is??
I don’t see the plugin activated on your shared site.
After activating the plugin, please make sure that you have configured it to search product post type as displayed in the attached screenshot.
I have now activated it again.
It now ends up in the top bar which is all white?
I can see the top bar search form works fine as displayed below.

You can configure it to display on the specific location of the theme page as described on the below page in the section “Display Search Form”.
We want it to be in the menu where the search icon is now, can you just integrate this to your theme?
Please configure the Header Search Results option in the theme header settings as shown in the attached screenshots.
