    Hello,

    In Widget area I have only 6 default sidebars:

    • Blog widgets
    • Page widgets
    • Footer widgets
    • WooCommerce widgets
    • Portfolio widgets
    • Other widgets

    and there is no way to add more in widget area or in theme customization.

    Why there is no way to customize pages with widget types? I would like to have custom widgets on different pages… I was hoping that this options are available inside the theme without need of installing other custom plugins…

    The functionality that you are trying to achieve is beyond the scope of the theme as it is in the plugin territory.

     

    The WordPress themes are only developed for designing a website and not to provide functionality. The WordPress plugins provide the functionality to the website.

     

    You can achieve this using the plugin such as below.
