The “eye” icon that counts the no. of blog post views is not accurately counting the views.
I have several times gone into a blog post, only to never see the no. views icon counter change at all, even after refreshing the page.
Is this eye icon actually counting at all, or only when it feels like it? There are certain stats reported next to each blog post, but I have no way of verifying if these no. of views are accurate at all.
What does other people’s experience have to say about this issue?
Sorry – my site is still Under Construction so is not publicly viewable a the moment. You’ll just have to take my word for it 🙂

I could confirm the issue on my test site, therefore, I notified the theme developer about this so that it will be fixed.
The issue will be fixed ASAP.

How will I know when this issue has been fixed, and how can I implement these changes to my theme?
Regarding applying future upgrades to the theme – my web developer told me he was very concerned that is he updated the theme with your latest updates, that they would reverse/destroy all his manually implemented changes to the original theme, eg. like the creative slider, he has created his own slider instead, at the top of the Home page, consisting of 2 rows x 4 columns of blog post images. Will his changes to your theme be removed/destroyed by upgrading your theme with latest changes, such as the fix to this counting issue we have identified in this post?

You can update the theme on your website as described here https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/
Updating the theme won’t revert any changes you have made except the changes made in the theme file code so please check whether your developer made any changes in the theme files.
Also, I recommend you to take backup of your website before updating the theme so that you can restore it if anything goes wrong.
