    Hi there,

I have some issues with translating the Jevelin 4.6.6 theme with WPML. I can’t find strings for the options that i have set up in the Jevelin Backend customizer. For example i can’t translate the settings for the notice bar, standard footer copyright text, the 404 page and i can’t translate the title of the Portfolio Archive Category view. Also, when you want to view a category of the portfolio in Dutch (my main language) the link of the category on the Portfolio Single Item view is working and it’s showing me the correct Portfolio Archive Category. But when i change to English, the slug (URL) of the category is still showing me the dutch category name and not the translated one which i changed with WPML. Also it’s showing me one slash ‘/’ to much in the slug.

Here you can see the same page in Dutch and English

    http://dev.adrianasmile.nl/clienten/mevr-magdalena-uit-polen/

    http://dev.adrianasmile.nl/en/clients/mrs-magdalena-from-poland/

On both pages you will see the categories in which i put them. If you click on a category from each page to test, the Dutch one will work but the English one not.

    Examples:

    This one works:

    http://dev.adrianasmile.nl/gebitsverzorging/facings/

    The next one doesn’t work.

    http://dev.adrianasmile.nl/en//gebitsverzorging/crowns/

It doesn’t see my translation and therefore the link isn’t correct.

Because when you type in the correct url you will see that the translation is working.

    http://dev.adrianasmile.nl/en/dental-care/crowns/

    Is this a template issue??

Or do i need to contact WPML.

So i am really eager to find a solution for translating the:

    1. Notice bar
    2. Footer copyright text
    3. 404 page
    4. Title of the Portfolio Archive Category view
    5. The slug (URL) of the category link on the Portfolio Single Item view

    Thanks in advance!!

    With kind regards,

    Tim Meulendijk

    Hi Tim,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I am not sure exactly why this is happening so could you please contact the WPML support to troubleshoot it?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team
