    Hi,

I am building a portfolio site for an artist. In my requirements, I have to filter based on category (painting, book, illustration etc.) as well as based on time (2018, 2019, 2020). I want my user to filter based on both, i.e. they can view only the paintings created in 2018.

I learned about the Overlay portfolio style in Jevelin which seems to have some advanced filtering. But I’m not sure if it can support what I need.

I found exactly the functionality I need in a third-party plugin called JUSTIFIED GRID (intersect). Does the Jevelin portfolio support this kind of filtering? Or should I buy the plugin?

For simplicity, I have decided to make the years into categories. Perhaps that was not the right approach to use with Jevelin. Do you have a better idea?

I’ll appreciate any advice you might have for me regarding how to best structure my client’s portfolio.

    Best regards,

    Adam Borowski

    Hi Adam,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

The Jevelin theme provides one level category filtering and not two-level filtering so you have to consider using a third-party plugin to achieve this.

    Best regards,
