Hello, I am looking to add a drop-down menu to the top menu as I currently have it constructed. what is the css code to do so?

    Hi @ntagoe,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I am not sure which Top menu you are referring to so could you please share your site URL where it’s displaying so that I can help you to achieve it?

    Best regards,

Those are not menu items but the contact details that you have added in the top header.

Is it possible to make that into a link?

You can make them clickable to have linked by using the child theme solution shared in the following topic.

Thank you for pointing me to that discussion, it was very helpful.

The Instagram element isn’t functioning correctly.

I am not sure which element you are referring to and what is not working so could you please describe it a bit more by sharing the screenshot?

Sorry about the late response, but for some reason, it’s working.

I have another question, however. I really need to be able to modify the menus so they can accept shortcodes at least. The updated child theme I downloaded from the thread you suggested to be able to add links to the top bar was very helpful but could there be one to make it accept shortcodes? If not could you point me to a resource?

    Thank you very much.

You can try using the below plugin to add a shortcode in the menu.

that plugin doesnt enable me to add shortcodes to the top bar. thats the main place I am concerned with

Then to achieve this, you have to develop custom code in the child theme of the Jevelin theme.

Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here. Please see https://themeforest.net/item/jevelin-multipurpose-premium-responsive-wordpress-theme/14728833/support

If you are not a developer then you can consider hiring a developer to develop it for you. You can hire a developer from any freelance site. Shufflehound recommends the developer https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/~011652ffec8865c6d5

Is it possible to center menu items instead of the default left-aligned? Or does that also require a modified child theme?

There isn’t any theme option to center align the menu but you can try achieving this using Yellow Pencil editor as described in the below page.
