Sorry, I know this has been discussed in different threads here before, but I am struggling with the update of the Theme. I downloaded the new version 2.4.12 and when I try to install the new zip folder I see the message that the target folder already exists and the installation was unsuccessful.
What am I doint wrong?

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Before installing the new theme, you should delete existing theme on your site or you can use following plugin to update theme.

The child theme doesn’t update and that is a purpose of using child theme instead of parent theme.
