    Hi there,

     

    I was wondering if it is possible to fully customise/build the 404 error page?

    Can it only be edited in theme settings? At the moment it is very limited.

    I want an image for the entire background, or at least the entire circle (take away the 404 and colour overlay?).

     

    Please let me know if this is possible 🙂

    Hi Sophie,

     

    I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.

     

    If you want to customize it beyond theme options then you can either use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/404page/ or copy the 404.php file from Gillion theme and add it in the Gillion child theme file to customize it however you want.
