    When I activated this theme, following error occured……

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /…../wp-content/themes/gillion999/inc/helpers_blog.php on line 49

    Please tell me how to fix it.

    “new” wordpress is installed in this site.

    Hi @Genio1128,

     

    Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

     

    Which version of PHP are you using on your server?

     

    Please make sure you are using latest version of it.

     

    Also please set featured images to the posts as described on the following page.

    I fixed it. The problem was PHP version.
