I have been looking through the menus and have not been able to find a way to get rid of this bar. Before purchasing Jevelin, I bought HeroMenu. I bought Jevelin to help speed up the page creation process, but have been unable to figure out how to turn off the Jevelin menus so I can use the HeroMenu plugin.
How do I use a non-jevelin menu with your theme?
Hi @Dimind,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
You can set or remove the menus in the Jevelin theme as displayed in the attached screenshot.
Please contact the HeroMenu plugin support to know how to use it with the themes.
Best regards,

I have been there, and tried that, and even deleted them out. I have not been able to get rid of the stupid white bar across the top. I can turn off the jevelin logo, but nothing I do has been able to get rid of the white bar and the “Assign Menu” text.
Could you please share your site URL where it’s displaying so that I can help you?
I posted it in the “Private information field”. I will post it again.
I have been building pages since 1997 and my approach has always been to get the navigation working first before flushing out content. I have tried wordpess in the past, but was never really a fan of how it was set up and went back to coding them directly. I was going to give it one more go.
If you notice on the page, I have a rough navigation bar set up above the image placement area. That is done through a 3rd party plugin called HeroMenu and done by inserting [hmenu id=1] into the code. I would like to get rid of the white bar at the top that says “Assign Menu” and replace it with [hmenu id=1] to insert the HeroMenu and lock it to the top of the page.
Progress.
I don’t see the Assign Menu text on your shared site as shown in the attached screenshot.
Please advise.
That is what I meant with “progress”.
Ok
