    Hello. I have a child theme, and in it, a style.css file. When I make edits to this file, then refresh my page in a browser, the edits do not show. It is only when I empty the cache and carry out a hard reload that the new CSS edits display. How can I ensure the new edits display on a simple page reload, rather than a hard reload?

    Thank you for your question.

     

    Every browser caches CSS, JS and media files to load the site faster so you have to check your browser configuration to not cache them or empty the cache automatically.
