Hi. Excerpts aren’t showing in Facebook post, although I have added it posts and also, set up Facebook Open Graph meta data. If you have any thoughts or solutions to this, please assist.

Please check whether it displays on the facebook sharing debugger on the below page.

If not then could you please share the page URL from your site where it is not displaying so that I can troubleshoot it?

I can see the og:description exists on your shared site but still, it doesn’t display on facebook.
Please try clearing and temporarily deactivating the cache that you are using on your website.
If it still doesn’t work then please contact facebook support to know why this is happening.

Facebook says it is a theme issue. They say that everything on their side is working correctly.
To confirm it just temporary use the Twenty Seventeen theme on your site. If everything works fine then it’s your site theme issue.
