Home › Forums › Gillion Theme › Fatal Error – Gillion
My site was operating just fine, then yesterday (May 19), my site, fitlyf.com no longer is functioning. All I see is an entire page of CSS code – with a fatal error at bottom! Please help.
Looks like there’s a theme update, not sure this will fix the issue, but I’m concerned of the roll out of new version if this is the case.
I contacted my web host and they stated this issue is best resolved by Gillion theme team.
Fatal Error:
<b>/wp-content/themes/gillion/inc/templates/render-css.php</b> on line <b>1024</b>
Thank you!

Will the 2.1.1 update which is “Beta” affect any of my current version (1.4.3) /site’s settings or blog content? I don’t want to create worse, or more issues.
Is there a simpler, code fix?
Thanks,
Joe

No it won’t affect your site settings and content. Just update theme as described here https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/
Also please make sure to activate Unyson mega menu extension as described in the below topic.

Solution for this topic
I only added the Unyson mega menu extension and that resolved my issue. No need to update the theme, at least at this point.
Thank you for the help!
You are most welcome here 🙂

You are using older version of theme on your site so please update it to the below latest version as described in this page https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/

Please provide specific directions on how to automate theme updates and receive advanced notification that you are rolling versions so I can better prepare. I can’t afford to continue to deal with my site being down (and not know it’s down). Thank you.
Updating themes can be done automatically using Envato Market Plugin (included in our recommended plugin list under Appearance > Install Plugins) which is mentioned in this https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/ above shared page.
