    Is there a possibility to show a featured image when sharing a link from the blog, instead of a favicon?

    You can use Yoast SEO for that functionality. It should help to improve overall SEO and add this feature.

    I will try, however, I have heard many negative comments about this plugin and its negative effect on website performance.
