Getting Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /wp-content/themes/jevelin/inc/init.php on line 29 while activating the jevelin theme. The site runs in shared hosting and cannot upgrade to the latest version of php.

Is there a way to activate the theme without upgrading php ?

    Solution for this topic

    Hi @sujaselv,

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

Could you please tell me which version of PHP you are using?

Would you mind if i log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details and FTP details privately by adding them in the box having text “Click here to share private content. Only you and forum moderators will be able see it.”?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team
