I set the Google Maps API and when I try to edit the Google Map it says Error: forbidden.

Not sure what is wrong. I have tried reinstalling the theme, but no fixes yet.

    Solution for this topic

    Hi @willardjosh0,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I logged into your shared site and it seems happening because the site /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php file is Forbidden as shown in the attached screenshot.

Please make sure it is not forbidden by referring the information provided in the following page and contacting your web host.

    • I disabled all plugins, only allowed Unyson, for Google Maps. Did not fix the issue.
    • I deleted my .htaccess file and created a new one. Did not fix the issue.
    • I verified file permissions were correct, but still did not fix the issue.

      any other ideas? Thanks.

As requested above, have you contacted your web host to check whether any firewall or security system is restrictions access to that file?
