Hi Guys,
Love the theme so far, looking forward to building out the site! Google Maps API is plugged in correctly. I also visited Snazzy Maps and chose a style and customized the map for display on the site using the code snippet:
<iframe src=”https://snazzymaps.com/embed/110463″ width=”100%” height=”630px” style=”border:none;”></iframe>
I pasted this into the style box for the Google Map on the Jevelin theme. No luck. It just doesn’t work after trying everything I know how to do..
https://www.houzpics.com is the site in development. You’ll see what I mean.
Hi @dgsmith,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
You don’t have to use iframe code from snazzymaps but just its styling code as described in the video shared in the below page.

Best regards,
Shufflehound team
Here’s what I replaced the iframe code with:
[ { “<span class=”attribute”>featureType</span>”: <span class=”value”><span class=”string”>”administrative.country”</span></span>, “<span class=”attribute”>elementType</span>”: <span class=”value”><span class=”string”>”geometry”</span></span>, “<span class=”attribute”>stylers</span>”: <span class=”value”>[ { “<span class=”attribute”>visibility</span>”: <span class=”string”>”simplified”</span> }, { “<span class=”attribute”>hue</span>”: <span class=”string”>”#ff0000″</span> } ] }</span> ]
The map still does not work properly. It doesn’t even locate my address properly. I’m looking at somewhere half way around the world from my business and nothing I do changes that.. Except the colors have changed.
p.s. The above style is the only thing pasted into the box. The existing language is no longer there.
Please help me fix this so I can move on to more interesting things 🙂
Thank you,
Doug
Very frustrated with this issue. I’ve read all the entries related to it on the support forum. Tried everything. Added the Geo and Maps APIs plus many other maps related ones. Plugged in the API key in one, both, and the other location with no effect. I’m attaching a screenshot of one area where it is obvious that the address is not pulling up the correct location. My address is in the US, and the map is of Australia.
Would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporary share me your site log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Click here to share private content. Only you and forum moderators will be able to see it.”?
Please, do. I am on a tight deadline with this project and the timezone issues for support response are tough.
Thank you,
Doug
I logged into your site and could set United States address correctly but it seems your address is incorrect or in short form so could you please add the remaining address fields as shown in the attached screenshot one by one and make sure that it is not in short form?
The problem is not fixed. I have entered the correct address and when I saved the form I’m looking at Austrailian outback again.
I have purchased a different Google Maps plugin and installed it. Please utilize it to replace whatever wonky code is causing the problem if possible. If that is not an option, please make the original map work reliably with the address I provided.
Thank you
Ok We will look into the issue.
Never mind. I’m tired of messing with it. I’ve moved on 😉
Ok
