Good evening, on the desktop version of my site, there is a grey strip just above the footer.

I cannot work out why it’s there or how to get rid of it.

If I minimise the window a little bit, it disappears?

It’s not the size of the image is it’s more than large enoung to cover it.

Could you have a look please.

    Many thanks!

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

You have added one empty row in that space causing to display grey strip.

Please edit the page using the WPBakery page builder and remove that empty row.

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

Oh wow – such a simple fix.

It’s worked now – thank you for your help.

I have another query I hope you can help with.

I’ve not made any changes but recently, all the “standard” copy on my blog appears to have been bolded (footer description, testimonials copy, blog excerpts etc.) do you know why this is and how can I change it back to regular?

I’ve uploaded a screenshot so you can see what I mean, it looked far neater when it wasn’t all bolded.

    Thanks again!

You have wrapped the text in <b> tags causing the issue so please remove the <b> tags that you have used.

Also, it seems you are using an older version of the theme on your website so please update it to the below latest version as described here https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/

    Thank you for your reply.

I have installed the latest theme update.

With regards to the bolded text – I have not added bold tags.

There is no bold tag in the footer – I wouldn’t know how to make the page links included in the footer bold either.

I’ve check all of these inputs and none of them are bolded, and yet it is showing on the site.

    I’ve attached more examples.

    Thanks again for your help.

Sorry, didn’t mean to upload the same images twice!

Would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporarily share me your site admin login details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able to see it)”?
