You can install the Basic theme demo content that contains the Home 5 page template as shown in the attached screenshot.

After installing that demo content, you will get Home 5 page in the pages screen of your site admin area which you have to set as front page in your site Reading Settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
When I click install content it takes a really long time. Is there an alternative solution?

After I turn on demo theme and demo content,
how can I import my old content into the site, and then switch to the homepage 5 above?

You can try using alternate demo content install method using https://wordpress.org/plugins/one-click-demo-import/ as shown in the attached screenshot that also retains your site existing data.
Besides clicking that button, is there an alternative way?
BTW if I click that button, it overwrites data.
