Hi,
I am setting up a Jevelin-based site using the Minimalist Portfolio theme. The site needs to have a WooCommerce store and I have set one up.
I am getting a strange URL in the shop compared to the regular site.
To reconstruct the bug – go to http://www.adamborowski.org/lauranicholson – that’s the basic site. Now click SHOP in the navigation and go to the shop. Notice that the URL now says this:
http://adamborowski.org/lauranicholson/index.php/shop/
Clearly this is wrong – the /index.php/ shouldn’t be there. I guess it’s because I’m not working in my root directory. Please tell me how to turn the URL into:
http://adamborowski.org/lauranicholson/shop/

It is not theme related but related to your WordPress installation.
You can remove index.php from the URL as described below.
http://dejanjanosevic.info/remove-index-php-permalink-in-wordpress/
https://wpsutra.com/remove-index-php-wordpress-permalink/
http://derekmolloy.ie/remove-index-php-from-your-wordpress-url/
