Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Jevelin: Switch to Elementor visual editor if already designing w/ Demo plugins?
Hi Support Team,
I’ve been trying to tweak my site’s design after importing the Creative Demo for Jevelin. Using the included editor plugins — Unyson, WP Baker, Yellow Pencil — I’ve had very little luck. Especially with the visual editor WP Bakery — to be honest, it’s garbage for designers like me who are used to Elementor. And it won’t stop asking for activation and upgrades.
Switch to Elementor editor?
If I’ve imported your Creative Demo with my site, tweaked items within YellowPencil and Revolution, can I still switch to Elementor? Or really, bottom line, if I have to, can I restart w/ the Creative Demo theme AND use Elementor as it’s visual editor? Or will that break plugins like Revolution Slider?
Honestly, I’ve wasted so much time trying to edit this theme to my design goals, I should have started from scratch with Elementor — I’d be done already. (sigh)
Thanks for your help!
Hi @ManageAdMusic,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
And it won’t stop asking for activation and upgrades.
You don’t need to activate it as you are using the plugin version bundled with the theme and as you are not direct customer of that plugin and cannot update that plugin yourself until you purchase it.
Please find more information about it on the following page.
We update the plugin with every new theme version. In this case you can just delete old plugin version and reinstall latest plugin version bundled with theme from Appearance -> Install Plugins
Switch to Elementor editor?
Yes, If you want to but please note that you can only edit the page using the same page builder that you used to create it so if you have used WPBakery or Unyson or any other page builder then please use the same page builder to edit the page.
Please do not switch between page builders orelse you will lose the content so choose the page builder that you want to use initially when you create the page content.

It won’t break Slider Revolution but yes as described above it will break WPBakery page editor and changes made using Yellow Pencil editor.
