    Hello,

it appears that whilst I was removing non required media files from the media library I may have inadvertently deleted the frame.png file from the library.

I do have a backup copy of the website, but I have subsequently done allot of work which I do not wish to loose. Additionally, I do not have a staging environment in my hosting packager therefore unable to load a backup copy in a separate instance to retrieve.

I would greatly appreciate it if you can provide the missing file which I can upload in the media library to remove the reported page loading errors on the attached screenshot.

    Many thanks in advance.

    George

    Hi George,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I checked that revslider directory but I don’t have Shop_slider directory in it and frame.png file.

Please try deleting and reinstalling revslider plugin that may help you to restore the file.

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

    Hello,

thanks for the advice but that is not a workable solution unfortunately.

The RevolutionSlider was included with the theme, so uninstalling then reinstalling is not possible without first licensing the use of the plugin with the developer, in other words I cannot reinstall the plugin without first buying a licence.

It is my fault for not backing up my web directory in full via FTP first, but I am where I am.

I have contacted the developer with the hope they can provide a copy of the missing file, or at least advise the dimensions and the colour so I can recreate the file. Will see how that plan goes 🙂

    Regards

    George

After deleting plugin, you don’t need to purchase it to reinstall it.

You can install it anytime as displayed in the attached screenshot.

    Hello again.

thank you for the advice. I did contact the developers, their response is in the attached image below.

I managed to resolve the issue by extracting another frame-xxxx.png file from the same directory and renaming the filename to frame.png, then uploading the same file to the directory.

Since the source file used is transparent, perhaps different number of pixels than the original, but it isn’t visible anywhere on the page and the page no longer reports loading errors when inspected. I accept that this is not the ideal fix, but given the feedback from both vendors and the lack of time to test/play with this, I’m satisfied with the fix for now.

At a later date when I have properly backed up all files and the website I will try to experiment with unistalling/reinstalling the plugin.

    thanks for your efforts.

    Regards

    George
