    Hi,

     

    I installed Gillion 2.2.0 and saw a link in the admin menu for theme settings. When I click it I see a message that I am not allowed to view that page (I am admin).

    So I installed an older version I had (1.4.3) and there the entire link to theme settings is missing.

    I have chosen a static homepage in the settings. I deactivated all plugins.

    The only thing is: I am using the Roots.io Bedrock setup for WP.

    Any idea why I cannot view the theme settings or see the theme settings link?

    Ok, never mind. DISALLOW_FILE_MODS was set to true, so I never saw the required plugin warning. And you need the required plugins otherwise you cannot see the theme settings link and you are not allowed to view the settings page.
