Hey, I want to add two images to the header. What files should I copy to the child theme and should it be in the same file hierarchy structure as the parent theme? The images will be two download buttons with unique links.

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Depending on which header layout you are using you have to copy the respective file from following theme directory in to your child theme in the same file hierarchy structure.
/gillion/inc/headers/
