I can’t find that you answered this question already, except obliquely. I have blog content already, so I can’t use the Demo (unless you have a way to do this where I won’t lose my content). All I want is a blog. I don’t need the other stuff for now. But in setting up, under the Template section for choosing a Home Page, there is no Home Blog. There is a Home Blog option on your live demo. Where is it on the Home Page choices?
I have attached 2 screenshots so you can see it’s not on the list of Home page options:

For the Blog home page you have to set home page template to blog and then configure blog page settings as shown in the attached screenshot.
