Hi,
I made a copy of current website in order to safely test its behavior after update. Everyting was copied besides the most important – theme settings. Why is that?

I used to test pages in this manner. In case of other themes this solution was always OK, the files as well as theme settings were copied.Unlike other themes the Gillion theme saves theme settings using Unyson plugin in both locations customizer and theme options so please ask https://installatron.com/wordpress support whether they support it.
Alternatively you can also use any of the following plugins to duplicate your site.
