Pagination on category archive pages doesn’t work correctly on my site. When you go to the second page of posts, it doesn’t include the custom permalink structure that we’re using for our site that includes the category name.

    Example on this page

    https://bicyclist.xyz/profiles/

    Pagination should direct to

    https://bicyclist.xyz/profiles/pages/2/

    but instead, directs to https://bicyclist.xyz/pages/2/

    Thanks for the help!

Heres a link I found of someone having a similar issue with WordPress, but the code is specific to their site and I’m not sure how to implement their fix with Gillion. Hope it helps you provide a solution for me to use.

    Hi Chris,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Gillion theme.

Could you please share the screenshot of your Permalink settings page so that i can configure my site accordingly and test it?

    Best regards,
    Shufflehound team

    Solution for this topic

I used the same settings on my test site but couldn’t reproduce the issue.

It is working same way as on the page https://bicyclist.xyz/category/profiles/events/bwr/ on your site so i am not sure how you have created this profile page https://bicyclist.xyz/profiles/

    Please advise.

    Solution for this topic

Ah, this helped me figure it out.

The links in the menu needed to be changed with /category/ added. They now work correctly directing to

    https://bicyclist.xyz/category/profiles

    and then

    https://bicyclist.xyz/category/profiles/page/2/

    when using the pagination.

    Thanks!

You are most welcome here 🙂
