Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION" after installing theme
I am getting the following error after installing the theme:
<b>”Parse error</b>: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in <b>/home1/XXXXX/public_html/XXXXXX/wp-content/themes/jevelin/inc/init.php</b> on line <b>22″</b>
I get this when either previewing the theme under theme installation menu, or after activating the theme; rendering the site un-usable.
How do I fix this?

Thanks for your response. I was running 5.2 (without realising), so have updated to 7.1 and it now works properly.
You are most welcome here 🙂
