how can I add a link to my portfolio site where the person clicks the image and it goes to the link?

For example when someone is on the homepage and they see the portfolio they click on that image and it takes them to a destination that I have linked.
By default, the portfolio image links to a single portfolio page and there isn’t an option to change it.
To change it, you have to develop custom code in the child theme of Jevelin theme.
