Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Woocommerce One-Page Checkout Not Working
Hi there,
I have recently purchased the Woocommerce One Page Checkout Extension and am running into an issue. The Extension allows the customers to add a product to the cart and checkout all on the same page. The extension is working as I have tested it with another theme and removed all plugins, so it is a theme issue. I have contacted Woocommerce support and they have said the theme is block AJAX requests somewhere.
The extension does work and does update when the product is added to the cart from a product page or the cart page (which is what I don’t want). It is only to be visible from the main page where the extension is. As mentioned, everything seems to be working when the theme is deactivated.
Any help available? Thanks
Hi @myfisher,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Could you please tell me how to reproduce the issue on your shared website so that I can troubleshoot it?
Also, this can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporarily deactivating all plugins except Woocommerce One Page Checkout Extension, Unyson plugin, and WpBakery page builder plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
If you scroll down to the Buy Now section on the main page, you will find the One Page Checkout Extension. If you try to add a quantity of product, the cart underneath it will not update. But, if you go to the product page (which I don’t want customers to do) and then add the product to the cart, then go back to the main page, you will see the cart in the extension is updated.
I’ve deactivated everything minus those plugins and it still doesn’t work. The extension works when the theme is deactivated and all plugins are working, so it seems to be a theme issue.
It seems that extension is not designed to work with the Jevelin theme but with the specific type of theme so please contact the extension developer to know what is its requirements to make it work.
Thats unfortunate, the extension developer is Woocommerce which is what Jevelin is being advertised to be compatible with, I would assume an extension would work with it. They have already said it’s a theme issue, which seems to be true as it works on other themes with all the plugins still activated.
Yes, the theme is compatible with the Woocommerce plugin but this plugin has thousands of extensions so how can we keep track of testing with all of them with every latest version?
We will definitely fix If you face any issue using the theme with Woocommerce plugin and will try our best to resolve any extension issue but as we have not developed the extension so extension developer needs to tell us what is the extension requirement and what changes we should make in the theme to make it compatible.
