I remember this happening while back too, and then it became possible to update it, but this time it has been many months…
what’s going on, are we going to have this updated through javelin somehow?

ps. I get this error: (I have error reporting on):

and I think this is because of old WPbakery version

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
Please make sure that you are using the below latest theme version.
Then you can update the theme from the below path.
Admin Area -> Appearance -> Install Plugins

No, you don’t need to do anything with the child theme.
