Thank you! There is a section now that I want to remove from the page –
it says Blog posts and has a line next to it. (reference attached image)
Where can I remove it? And how?
Ok. Thanks. It seems to have the post ID’s of blog templates that I deleted and may be the reason why it’s not showing up but where do I find the ID for any post that I have written?
Also if you reference the demo site and reference image I posted you will see that the title details, author tag etc show on the featured image of the featured post and also seems to have the option for a slideshow. How do I make mine do all that?
Ok. I did that but it’s appearing in the wrong section of my blog. The template has the featured post following the “hot topics” section, however on my blog it follows the subscription banner.
I want it to show up after the hot topics section of my blog. How do I do that?
Ok. Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks!
That worked. Thank you!
Sure! I’m using the subscription fields in middle of site and footer to collect emails to a list. I used plugin Mailchimp for WP. The API settings say it’s connected. I have a list name and ID. The widgets appear to have the form code but the subscription fields don’t seem to be collecting emails.
Thank you. I tried that but it didn’t work. It just re-directs to the blog post that the user saw my email icon in. I included in private field the code that was generated by rapid tables
No, what I’m asking is how do new posts get into the slots at the very top of my page (the three post slots under menu)? See attached to see the area I’m referring to
Thank you, I appreciate it!
How do I replace the image (part of lady’s hair and hat) that now remains?
Thank you! I found it. I’m not sure what to put here though –
“Enter your custom link to show the icon”
How do I find the custom link for people to be able to email through clicking the icon?
Ok, how do posts get in those slots then? If I publish posts to the site will none of them take that place at all? I’m confused
Solution for this topic
Ok, I’m sorry! I just went back into me WP dashboard to see how I could explain better and saw that the old post was actually in my blog post list. I’m not sure how but I promise you it wasn’t there before. I had deleted it. *sigh* forgive me for the confusion. I deleted again and it appears to no longer be on my site at the top of the page.
However, I would like my “latest posts” (refer to site info in private) to show up in the three slots at the top of my site. How do I do that?
Sorry again for the confusion and for being so patient with me!
I don’t like the weird box and image within the box that houses the text. How can I make the text stand alone? See attached. Sorry for my scrawly text
Never mind. I think I found it. But I still can’t figure out how to change the background image
Which page are you referring to?
Hi! The post screenshot is one I posted yesterday. The post I’m referring to is still showing at the top of my website. You’ll see that the post I’m referring to (at top of the page) has the old template web address. The address and post title don’t match which is why I want it deleted. I deleted from my wordpress but it still shows up.
The post you screenshot is what I want to remain on my site and take the space of the old post. Hope I’m making sense. See notes in private info field. Thanks!
Hi! Not sure if you saw my last response. Looks like it didn’t show up but I’ve attached the info as requested.
Could you also help me figure out how to have my latest posts show up in the spots at the top of my page. Thank you!
