Thanks for the speedy reply – but i didn’t see any of those options that:
- Visually look like option 4 (size and positioning)
- without the spyglass icon
- the entire image clickable
- Disable the “link” on the tags displayed (but still show the tags)*
- change/add an effect to the original image (e.g. add a blur to the background image in addition to/instead of the zoom)
*all examples have the tags as links. I want/need to disable this
Further confounding this problem. When I DID manage to turn on visual page builder for portfolio project, the text is way out of alignment with the content of the page.
The first 2 attached images. one at normal zoom, and another with chrome zoomed way out, so you can see how offset this is.
Even if I change to a gallery slider layout, the additional items push the content down then overlap.

So when i started creating my own pages, this appeared to resolve itself – only persists on the demo pages. So i guess this is resolved 🙂 and ill keep this suggestion in my back pocket for later
