Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Default colour codes as rgb not hex
Thank you for sorting out my earlier issue.
Today clearly not a good day. Having reinstalled, I now have to re do all my theme settings. It will only let me enter them as rgb. Before I was working on hex codes and didn’t have this issue.
Is there a toggle somewhere to set default colours in hex values please?
In fact, it is not letting me change any codes in the theme settings styling at all.
I can’t enter a value at all
Hi @lifestylegr,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using below latest version of Jevelin theme as displayed in the attached screenshot.

The colors values are on RGBA format to support transparency. You can just use any of the following tools to convert HEX value to RGBA

Lol. In uk we have a saying for this situation. “Well I’m alright Jack” 🙂
Doesn’t really answer my q – it was operating in HEX before. Why now in RGBA and how can I get it to work in hex only like it did>
Thanks, SH
Yep – same issue for me also – if you try to enter a colour it defaults to RGBA and will not let you enter a hex code.
It also pushes any transparencies that have been set up to a value of ‘1’ (100%) so all transparencies fades etc are lost
As said above in my reply it is changed to RGBA format in the recent version of theme to support transparency and now you can only use RGBA format for colors and not HEX.
