while installing the new theme that i have just purchased, I attempted to install and activate the plugins as instructed. They all installed correctly except the revolution slider plugin. It attempted to install for a few minutes then I received a “405 error not allowed” im almost certain something is wrong with this plugin.
since the plugin did not install correctly the website template is flawed please help me get this plugin operational so I can use the website template.
i tried to delete the plugin and reinstall it. it said it was installed correctly however it also says product not activated and it does not contain any slider images in it for the website to load.
Hi @aoxenrider,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.
i tried to delete the plugin and reinstall it. it said it was installed correctly
Ok then it means the plugin is installed on your site.
however it also says product not activated
If you have not purchased slider revolution plugin and using the plugin bundled with the theme then you are not direct customer of that plugin so can not activate that plugin.
Please see more information about this on the following pages.

To use the plugin you don’t need activation code, you can just install and activate the plugin from Appearance -> Install Plugins
and it does not contain any slider images in it for the website to load.
I am not sure which slider images you are referring to so could you please describe it a bit more in detail by sharing its screenshot?
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
I have provided the two images to show you what I am referring to.
The first image shows the 504 error that keeps appearing.
The second image shows the top of my website theme what it currently looks like. After I reinstalled the plugin the website would not load correctly as it did in the template as displayed in the third image. If you would like to login to look at it I can provide you with login information just let me know. I figured the theme came with the stock images to make the website look like the template? Other images were already in the template as stock images (placeholders), I assumed images would be added into the slider as well to make it appear on the website as it does in the template. The 504 error occurs periodically while editing the website as well. when I try to upload an image or a file it will appear occasionally.
The 504 error is a server related error that you can resolve as described in the below pages.

Please make sure that the slider revolution plugin is active on your site when you import the demo content so that the slider images get imported.
If it still doesn’t work for you then would you mind if I log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please temporary share me your site admin log in details privately by adding them in the box having text “Enter your private content here (only you and forum moderators will be able see it)”?
As of now I have not yet figured out how to resolve this error. I have provided the login credentials to you in the box below if you could take a look at it. The site url is udaservices.com
i did edit some of the pages already, I will attempt to backup some of the pages data, if we need to reset the site feel free to do so.
Solution for this topic
I logged into your shared site and imported the Construction demo content which is displaying the slider now on the home page of your site.
Could you please confirm it?
yes it has uploaded correctly, thank you. has this fixed the 504 error as well?
I didn’t do anything to resolve the 504 error but are you still getting it?
as of right now no I am not. If i get it again I will submit another ticket.
Ok
