Hi,
I have a problem with margins on my site. It looks quite ok on my MacBook, but when I open the page on other computers and on my phone there is a white border on top of the header on the frontpage. See picture for info.

Then another problem is on the first header (H1) on the homepage. It doesn’t change dimensions for the mobile view so the text goes outside the visible field. See pic for more info.
Would appreciate some help with these issues.
Hi @anojd,
I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.

I could confirm the issue on your shared site.
You are using older version of the theme on your site so please update the theme on your site to the below latest version as described here https://support.shufflehound.com/updating-theme/
Please login to access this file
Also, it seems the slider issue so please check the slider for responsiveness as described on the below pages.

You can make it responsive using the Yellow Pencil editor as described in the below page.

Hi.
Since when does one manually have to install the theme updates? Usually I just need to press a button. How will installing the update effect all the modifications I have done to the site?

You can only automatically update the free theme hosted on WordPress.org and not a premium theme.
For the Jevelin premium theme, you can update it either manually or using the below Envato Market plugin.

It won’t affect any modifications if you have not made any changes in the theme files.
OK,
Thanks. The problem with the white border on top of the header still remains when I view the page on my IPhone. I have updated the theme and made the other adjustments. What else can I do?
Anna
Please try adding the same slider in the content area of the page and check whether the white border displays there to confirm whether it is a slider issue.
Also, share me that page URL so that I can troubleshoot it.
Hi,
http://sitecon.digitrooper.se/contact/?lang=en
At the bottom of the page you can see the slider. That also has a white border. And on top of that. After I installed the theme update suddenly every page got a white empty space that wasn’t there before and that I don’t want there. See any page: http://sitecon.digitrooper.se/
Solved the second problem, but the problem with the white border above the slider still remains.
Anna
It seems the empty space is added int he slider so please remove it by editing the slider or create a new slider.
Have you got any idea where in the slider such an empty space is added?
Solution for this topic
I don’t know exactly where it is added.
Could you please try deleting and recreating the slider?
Solved it. Thanks!
Anna
You are most welcome here 🙂
