Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › How to add noindex metatag in shufflehound_header and shufflehound_footer
I have setup no indexing for my header and footer pages using the yoast seo plugin.
These are: https://www.craftyapps.com.fj/shufflehound_header/header/
and
https://www.craftyapps.com.fj/shufflehound_footer/footer/
However, I see a default shufflehound_header and a shufflehound_footer page showing in my site index on Google.
https://www.craftyapps.com.fj/shufflehound_header/
and
https://www.craftyapps.com.fj/shufflehound_footer/
I cannot find any other place in yoast to add the noindex on these pages, nor can I edit them in the backend.
Any idea how I can edit these and add no index so that it does not show in my google index.
Thank you,
Sanjeet
Solution for this topic
Ok I was able to solve this issue as soon as I created this thread.
For anyone else experiencing this issue, here is how I solved it.
I saw the title in the browser tab which read: Footers Archive or Headers Archive.
Then in yoast I remember I saw an archive header and footer option in the “Content Type” section under the Search Appearance menu item.
Disable the option that says “Show the archive for Headers in search results?” and the same applies for the footer.
Maybe the admin can mark this thread as resolved.
Thanks
Sanjeet
