    Hi

    I’ve copied a website to a temporary domain to redesign it using the Gillion Theme.

    The intention is when ready, I will move the temporary domain / website back to the live domain website/url.

    What determines the ‘popular posts’ on the theme?

    The popular posts on the current live site are different to the temporary site.

     

    But when I move the site back I want the original popular ones to still be popular.

    Can I manipulate what posts are popular?

    I hope that makes sense!

    Solution for this topic

    The popular posts are determined based on the number of visits the post receives therefore the popular posts are different on your websites.

     

    The theme saves the count in the post custom field gillion_post_views and increases it with every post visit.
