Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Website home page no longer loads images when reloaded (bug?)
My website used to work fine but I have recently noticed that the home page images only load when the website is first accessed. If you reload the page either through the URL or using the menu the theme will long longer display the images.
I can replicate the issue on Firefox, Safari (on desktop) and Chrome on Android. Interestingly enough, the home page works fine when I access it on Chrome on my desktop which is the browser I am logged into Bluehost/Wordpress with. However, I can replicate the issue in Chrome on desktop if I go incognito.
If I make an identical webpage the same issue occurs.
The only work around is to clear the browser history/ cache every time I access the website, but this is no solution for other people trying to access my website.
I contacted Bluehost, and after 30 minutes of troubleshooting they said it appeared to be an issue with the theme.
Hi there,
Sorry for our late response.
We just tested it on your website and it seems that images are loading fine. Have you been able to resolve this issue?
Best regards,
Shufflehound team
Hi Shufflesound,
Yes I did managed to resolve the issue.
It seemed that updating the Jevelin theme though my WordPress portal was insufficient. Downloading an update to the theme through Envato and installing it seemed to resolve the issue.
Sorry for not updating this post with the fix. I tried to withdraw this ticket but was unsure how. Then I forgot about it.
Sure, no worries!
Thank you for letting us know! 🙂
