Home › Forums › Jevelin Theme › Change published date to modified date
Hi support,
I would like to change the published date of my blog posts to the modified dates in the post-meta-data section.
Next to that I also would like to translate ‘by’ in the author section to ‘Door’.
Looking forward to you reply.
Thanks!
Best
Hi there,
Currently, we use WordPress built-in functionality when showing the date.
Maybe to achieve this functionality you can use a plugin like WP Last Modified Info.
For the translations, you can use the Loco Translate plugin, which can do exactly that.
Best regards,

Thanks for the fast reply.
I already WP last modified info is not showing up at that position.
Is there another way to achieve this?
Could you please reply on this?
Sure, we tested multiple plugins and couldn’t find any compatible with our theme.
Maybe you can just reset the publish date when updating? It is pretty easy and can be done with just a few clicks, see here.
